Senior ERP Developer

This position is responsible for providing technical expertise, execution of development projects.

The Senior ERP Developer is responsible for creating custom software applications as well as integrating and/or implementing ERP systems delivered and third-party software. The Senior ERP Developer has a solid understanding of all integration points and features of ERP systems.

Individuals within the ERP Applications Development career progression work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions for the development and operation of ERP systems. They typically design, test, and debug ERP software, while also providing client support, consultation, and subject matter expertise for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and support. ERP developers ensure that all ERP applications are in compliance with the organization's architectural standards. ERP Applications Developers configure, analyze, design, develop, and maintain ERP program codes and applications to support business processes and functions. They also work on elements of large, complex installations.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom code and interfaces to and from the ERP system. Provide high-level support and troubleshoot all issues related to functional processes that are not working to the business community's satisfaction. Participate in design efforts for new, mid-level programs and processes.
Design custom processes and components or adapt delivered integration to a third party or other packaged applications software. Design activities may involve learning package software and evaluating configuration options of the application against business requirements. Demonstrating the ability to perform systems development tasks and manage multiple development tasks is necessary.
Provide backup support and assistance to other team members. Collaborate with co-workers on departmental projects. Share process information and make informal recommendations on how to improve processes and overall job execution within the team/department.
Attend training, vendor presentations, user group meetings, conferences, and seminars. Engage regularly in individual professional development related activities to remain current with industry technology trends and work processes.
Volunteer to undertake tasks that stretch the employee's capabilities. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Required: Three years of experience as an ERP developer. Experience must include two years in development of ERP applications, Human Capital Management (HCM) functional module, and reporting framework; functional requirements analysis, design, testing and defect analysis, implementation and integration using PeopleTools (8.5+) including PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, XML/BI Publisher, Integration Broker, SQR and AWE.

Preferred: Web Services (REST/SOAP) and Oracle RDBMS/Unix Operating System environment.

ERP Application Developer

Responsibilities

Develops application enhancements, 3rd party integrations, and bug fixes to the PeopleSoft Enterprise Systems. Supports Production and Application Security when needed.
Supports of Financials applications including Grants.

Application Development Manager manages application development, configuration, implementation, enhancement of the SAP ERP and Web applications. Reporting to the ERP Applications Manager, the ERP Application Support is the subject matter expert and a source of information, advice, and support for the processes.
